Yeah, I haven't been working on the game anyways, and after updating to the new windows, I'm not sure I'm going to even bother to install WC3 again. I'll be around here from time to time, but I likely won't be playing WC3 anymore. Was a good ride, thanks for the support everyone.

Warcraft 3 still works on Windows 10 if you use Windows XP compatibility mode.

Honestly bots ruined the game imo. I have no interest in playing it anymore as most the modding community is dead, or the few who are left are generally too inexperienced/dedicated to produce maps I actually enjoy.

I mostly play Castle Fight 2v2 or Castle Fight! hosted by the ENT bots. While I agree that the bots ruined things for any potential newbie map creators, I believe they also are aiding to keep Warcraft 3 alive to this day. Well, that and Blizzard isn't like Gamespy in that they don't shut off the servers when people are clearly still using them. (Nintendo Wifi)
I swear I am not affiliated with or sponsored by ENT, but they do provide a useful feature that lets you host your own maps like Make me host does.
Add-in: Speaking of things killing other things... I feel like reddit killed forums for me.

Haven't been on here in, God, years... But, I just stopped in because I finally loaded up Warcraft 3 again for the first time in years and happened to see a game of this hosted... Obviously had no choice but to jump in it; and when it downloaded the map I wondered if it was the official; came here to check and damn it was.
Andddd in the version list I saw the unprotected thing.
Thank you so much for your hard work, and also for releasing the source map to the public so that we can see how you did all the amazing things you did here.
While yes, Warcraft 3 mapmaking isn't really alive anymore, it's still interesting to go through and see what you did here.
So thank you once again for an excellent map, and even more for allowing us a peek inside what you labored to produce.
I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

Every time I come back, there's more broken links to images. Somehow the edit button got replaced with a random gif.

Must've been some weird stuff because it looks fine now. But I noticed that sometimes the whole forum breaks when I check in on android. The whole thing is just black with words in different colours.

Man... It's been a while Feels like visiting an old friend, but unfortunately that has past Still, I had a lot of fun times with WC3, Fantasy Life, and all the stuff the modding community produced Though this forum right here was my only real tie to the actual community Some faces I remember, though I never really bothered to make an actual connection, and that's a bit regretful. Of course, I can't help but feel attached.
Perhaps I'll peek in a year or 2 or 3 if I happen to feel nostalgic
